What we collect

We collect personal information you provide to us directly - such as your name, contact details and business information when you enquire through this website, engage our services, or communicate with us. When you become a client, we also handle the financial records necessary to deliver bookkeeping, BAS, payroll and related services.

Why we collect it

• to respond to your enquiry and provide our services;
• to meet our legal and professional obligations, including under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and taxation laws;
• to communicate with you about your engagement; and
• to improve our services and this website.

Where your data lives

Your information is handled by our Australian-based team. We do not outsource processing offshore. Client records are held in reputable, access-controlled systems (including cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, which maintain their own privacy and security practices).

Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We disclose information only where needed to provide our services (for example, lodgements with the ATO on your behalf), where you authorise it, or where the law requires it.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we retain records for the periods required by taxation and corporations law.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting nicolette@njmandco.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
