What’s the difference between a bookkeeper and a BAS agent?

Anyone can do data entry. Only a Registered BAS Agent can legally prepare and lodge your BAS for a fee, advise on GST and PAYG, and represent you to the ATO. NJM&Co is registered (No. 90529000) - so your books and your lodgements come from the same accountable person.

How much do your bookkeeping services cost?

We charge by the hour, billed in five-minute increments. You’re not paying for keystrokes, though: you’re paying for a Registered BAS Agent who works fast and spots problems before they cost you. After a free chat and a look at your file, we give you a realistic estimate.

My books are badly behind. Can you fix them?

Yes - catch-up and rescue work is our bread and butter. We triage what the ATO needs first, bring lodgements up to date, then set up a rhythm so it never happens again.

Do you work onsite or remotely?

Both. Most Melbourne clients run on a remote monthly rhythm with scheduled check-ins; onsite help is available where hands-on suits better.
